Ideally located between Notre-Dame de Paris and the Pantheon, La Lanterne is a charming boutique hotel, representing French art of living. Inaugurated in 2015, the hotel had a facelift last year. Indeed, after the acquisition of the neighboring hotel and 18 months of work later, the establishment acquired 17 additional rooms. However, he retains his intimate setting and its "like at home" atmosphere... Without skimping on the services, high-flying! An elegant and racy decoration
From the lobby, we discover several small lounges with different moods. The meeting room is decorated in warm tones, and displays on the walls japanese illustrations. If the input one turns out to be a chic parisian boudoir with its pink armchairs, it adjoins a more subdued corner. Lanterns are hung here and there, to recall the DNA of the establishment, which pays homage to the soul of Paris: its famous street lamps. We quickly notice that La Lanterne is furnished and decorated with antique objects, exclusively... And the result is there!
Modern and well-equipped rooms
Modern and elegant, the 42 bedrooms are decorated with furniture with sober and pure lines. At the head of the bed, we discover a pretty black and white wallpaper. Signed by the photographer Nicolas Senegas, he uses Parisian lanterns and lampposts. Each of the rooms has everything you need to make your stay as pleasant as possible: Nespresso courtesy tray, minibar, television with international channels, air conditioning, safe, Samsung tablet… It feels like home.
A spa offering rejuvenating moments
In the basement, the 4-star hotel has a spa housing a corner pool under the vaults, which makes all the singularity and the undisputed charm of the place... A real added value when you know that it is the only indoor swimming pool in the entire 5th arrondissement ! A hammam, a sensory shower, a treatment cabin Taaj and two fitness machines complete this wellness.
Although it does not have a restaurant, the hotel does however have a " honesty bar ". On a principle of trust, it offers a fine selection of wines, champagnes, beers and soft drinks, self-service. We particularly appreciate the warm and welcoming staff, as well as the quality of Breakfast.
