Choose your favorite piece from Michiyo's collection or bring your own broken object to restore it with this unique technique. Kintsugi involves sublimate the "wounds" of the object using vegetable lacquer and gold dust, silver or colored lacquer. The scars thus created on the repaired objects tell a story, making it particularly valuable pieces. During the workshop, Michiyo will walk you through a simplified version of the kintsugi using resin glue and brass.
