Ecolodgee, a hotel a stone’s throw from the park
On July 8, Futuroscope inaugurated its second themed hotelCalled Ecolodgee, which places a strong emphasis on the environment. This new family establishment is located at only a few meters from the entrance to the Futuroscope Park. Made of 120 wooden lodges spread across a 3,8 hectare landscaped park. At the heart of this body of water, virgin islets are created, adding a natural touch to the whole.
A hotel with eco-responsible values
The lodges, built with wood from sustainable French forests, offer families a unique experience in harmony with nature, thus offering an immersive hotel experience different from all those offered on the Futuroscope site.
These lodges spacious et luminous are raised on stilts to reduce their impact on the ground. They include a master bedroom, a children's area fitted out like a cabin with 2 or 3 single beds. As well as a lounge area and a bathroom with toilet. With an area of 27 m2, they can accommodate up 5 people. The large bay windows and the private wooden terraces offer a privileged view on the surrounding nature.
In order to minimize their environmental impact, the Futuroscope lodges have been designed without air conditioning. The presence of water and trees, combined with the thermal performance of the lodges and the caps of their roofs... This allows a natural and pleasant cooling.
Exceptional services
The lodges are available in two categories: the initial, comprising 100 lodges, and the Signature, with 20 lodges. Signature lodges offer more interior space, a ceiling fan, an espresso machine and a courtesy tray.
In order to reduce waste, Ecolodgee produces hygiene products in eco-labeled eco-pumps. Thus avoiding individual packaging and contributing to the fight against waste.
To ensure the comfort of residents, the team is responsible for delivering breakfast every morning to the door of the lodge. A basket that favors organic and/or local products, as well as reusable tableware.
