For gourmands in search of sweet delights, Les Deux Magots amazes with its recent unique pastry creation, called L'Énigme d'Auguste.

On the occasion of its 140th anniversary, Les Deux Magots pays tribute to Auguste Boulay, the ancestor of Catherine Mathivat. The current owner of the café who took over the establishment in 1914. In addition to the famous tarte Tatin and the essential platter composed of millefeuilles, éclairs, tartlets, the new pastry creation, the Enigma of Auguste, promises to be an irresistible taste promise for all lovers of exquisite flavors!

The Enigma of Auguste: a cocoa shell that melts under the old-fashioned hot chocolate of Deux Magots

The Riddle of Augustus, developed in collaboration with Arnaud Larher, reveals a delicious composition. A soft brownie cookie under a 70% dark chocolate shell, containing a chocolate mousse creamy, a generous layer of caramel with fleur de sel, and an elegant rosette of vanilla ganache. What do you think… Delicious isn’t it?

And that's not all! The magical moment arrives when the pastry waitress pours the old-fashioned hot chocolate from Deux Magots, gently melting the shell and thus revealing the mystery of this exquisite dessert.

« This collaboration with Les Deux Magots fills me with happiness. We share a common passion for our profession and the ambition to create unforgettable experiences for our customers. " entrusts Arnaud Larher, pastry chef chocolatier Meilleur Ouvrier de France.

A historic service of pastries on the tray

Furthermore, Les Deux Magots stands out for its famous tray of pastries. A pillar of French service! The board brings together crispy millefeuilles, melting éclairs and fruity tartlets. Sometimes the great classics are revisited. Like cheesecake twisted with citrus fruits. Or the Mont Blanc which combines chestnut cream with blackcurrant-blueberry confit.

The indulgence doesn't stop there, because Les Deux Magots also offers its essentials Tatin tarts caramelized and chocolate mousse throughout the year !
