The French luxury hotel brand, Sofitel, will feature the emblematic croissant in its establishments. One of the most popular French pastries in the world!

On the occasion of its 60th anniversary, Sofitel delves into the concept of Haute Croissanterie. The emphasis is thus placed on this gourmet emblem, appreciated by all, entirely reinvented by chefs from around the world.

« Through our Haute Croissanterie concept, we have also managed to bring together a community of passionate pastry chefs around the world. They took pleasure in competing in creativity together to surprise and seduce our customers, by revisiting the universal emblem of the French breakfast. " revealed Anne-Cécile Degenne, corporate executive head at Sofitel.

Emblematic delight of the French pastry, the butter croissant continues to charm sweet and savory palates around the world. La Haute Croissanterie is being rolled out in preview in three renowned hotels. Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk in the United Arab Emirates, Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel in South Korea as well as Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo in Panama. These emblematic destinations will be the setting for the presentation of the Cultural Link croissants. Sofitel emblem embodied by its logo, symbolizing the link between world cultures.

Thus, Anne-Cécile Degenne collaborated with the culinary teams of these three hotels in order to promote Haute Croissanterie. Together, these creative teams developed new recipes, sweet and savory. Available in pastry shops since the end of January.

this innovative concept will be perpetuated over time with the presentation throughout the year of new croissant recipes developed by their ambassador chefs. Each month, animations at breakfast time will also be offered to anchor the Haute Croissanterie in people’s minds.
