Parisian friends, we found a unprecedented haven of peace not far away from Paris. The Oasis House collection of country houses opened the doors to us at La Prairie, its first house, located south of the Paris region. A real country feel, just 1 hour away. Change of scenery guaranteed!

With the school holidays and end-of-year holidays approaching, the opening of La Prairie by The Oasis House could not come at a better time. Ideal for a weekend with friends, family or colleagues, this house which has all the advantages of a real house of country, also has the advantage of being only an hour's drive from Paris.
And it is exactly in Égreville, a town offering a multitude of cultural and tourist activities, that this vast 12-room house was built. The founders, Camille Personnat and Guillaume Prigent, were keen to create true havens of peace with the concept of The Oasis House, born in 2022. Working green, creating, recharging your batteries, feeling good, disconnecting, these are the objectives fundamentals of a stay in one of their houses. We tested it, and it certainly worked!
La Prairie: feel at home with a tailor-made service
Twelve bedrooms, eleven bathrooms, meeting rooms, indoor and outdoor living spaces, a large swimming pool, a pétanque court, and a renovated 125m2 barn: everything has been thought of at La Prairie to make this space a a real cocoon, where nothing is missing. As a result, leisure, rest and even work have their place there. Projection screens equip the rooms which can serve as meeting rooms, and a high-speed connection is available for working in the best conditions.
When it comes to food, once again, “like at home” is king. The vast kitchen is entirely available to guests, who can, if they wish, bring their groceries and take advantage of the magnificent setting to cook in a friendly atmosphere. Otherwise, the teams take care of everything! A chef will be happy to concoct gourmet and seasonal recipes for the whole house.
We had the pleasure of concocting delicious recipes with chef Chloé Charles, who did not hesitate to share her know-how, advice and ideas when preparing the meal. Because this is also the concept of The Oasis House: moments of sharing, exchanges and pleasure, which make the stay unforgettable.
A total reconnection to nature
Going green during your stay at the Prairie isn't just a question of colors! The renovation of this country house was carried out using natural materials and renewable energies. On the kitchen side, the culinary approach favors short circuits and seasonal products, without forgetting the meal recipes, developed by the anti-food waste chef Chloé Charles.
In terms of amenities, La Prairie has two LumiPods nicely called “tiny houses”. These small houses located on the estate blend perfectly with nature and offer their occupants the opportunity for a unique reconnection with the outside world. This hotel room concept was designed with high-end materials rigorously chosen for their quality and durability.
As you will have understood, to escape the tumult of Paris, The Oasis House La Prairie is the ideal solution. A short journey, a total change of scenery and everything you need to feel like home, but better!
