Issey Miyake has just opened its new Parisian flagship

After closing on rue Royale in Paris, the Japanese label Issey Miyake is setting up its flagship in the Golden Triangle district.

After Bottega Veneta, followed by Saint Laurent last December, and more recently Burberry… It’s the turn of the Japanese brand Issey Miyake to reveal all news Book Parisian. Nestled at number 28 rue François Ier, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, the boutique now occupies the location of Europe 1 radio headquarters.

The flagship has two floors, marked by light and colorful shades, creating a striking contrast that gives a resolutely futuristic aesthetic.

“Historic 19th-century French architecture merges here with orange, which symbolizes the sun. » , reveals Tokujin Yoshioka, who also wanted to express “Issey Miyake’s philosophy of craftsmanship and futuristic energy”.

In addition to Issey Miyake's ready-to-wear collections, this boutique also offers the Pleats Please, Homme Plissé, A-POC ABLE, Bao Bao as well as 132 5.. In addition, it offers a selection of perfumes, watches and glasses from the brand.

Therefore, Issey Miyake is expanding its presence in Paris with three Pleats Please points of sale, including a dedicated boutique on Boulevard Saint-Germain and two corners within the Galeries Lafayette and Printemps on Boulevard Haussmann. Globally, the brand has a total of 277 outlets, thus underlining its international influence.
