Edwart Chocolatier's Easter creations are unveiled at the Gourmet

Since the beginning of March, the collections of Grands Crus chocolates as well as the Easter creations of Edwart Chocolatier have been set up at the Gourmet Store in Galeries Lafayette.

Edwart Chocolatier, is above all the story of a chocolate lover since childhood. After having explored diverse and varied backgrounds during his career – jewellery, art, tattooing, design, psychology, perfumery… - Edwin Yansane takes the plunge and opens his own chocolate factory. We are then in 2014 and this is the beginning of a great adventure!

Inspired by his walks in the streets of Paris, he then offers creations made from Grand Cru cocoas, exclusively. Coming from a specific geographical region (and sometimes even from a single plantation!) they each have a unique character. That of Venezuela displays a delicately fruity and slightly floral taste when that of Dominican Republic is all in roundness with its notes of blackcurrant bud. That of Papua New Guinea, meanwhile, contains flavors of hay and smoked earth…

Between freedom, audacity and creativity, the talented chef thinks of each piece as a blend of aromatic notes. Rare spices, dried fruits, fresh plants, seeds and other exotic berries...Making it a point of honor to make each creation by Edwart singular, he associates his chocolate with these unconventional ingredients, like a nose working on the notes of an exceptional perfume. The result ? Local chocolates, with marked tastes but always balanced, elegant and sequenced. The promise ? A delicious discovery with every bite!

Through this blend of unique aromatic notes, Edwart Chocolatier is reinventing and completely revolutionizing chocolate tasting.

The Edwart Chocolatier Easter collections at Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet

Since March 3, Edwart Chocolatier has been packing his bags at Gourmet store in Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann. An ephemeral pop-up that will last until April 19 ! The perfect opportunity to discover all their chocolate sweets, unique in character. Experience boxes, tablets, bars, delicacies, spreads...

Among them, we find the collection imagined on the occasion of the Easter : a tribe of joyful chocolate gallinaceans. "Pullets, chicks and piou-pious sip a 'cococktail' while Fleet the Fox tries to play the party spoiler". Always made with Cocoa Grands Crus, this funky collection promises to amuse young and old alike.

And since March 17, Edwin Yansané and his teams have unveiled a new character: the Floating Piou-Piou. A delicacy in 38% milk chocolate from Tanzania whose bath is garnished with the new puffed corn praline, created exclusively for Le Gourmet, for Easter.
