For more than a century, Michelin Stars have been synonymous with excellence in the world of gastronomy. Chefs aspire to achieve these prestigious accolades, which can transform a little-known establishment into a renowned gastronomic destination.
The Michelin Guide ranks restaurants based on the quality of their cuisine, service and ambiance. By giving them stars ranging from one to three. A star represents high quality cuisine worth a detour. Two stars indicate an exceptional restaurant worth a detour. And three stars describe exceptional food that's worth the trip.

The 2024 vintage of the best restaurants in France according to the Michelin guide was presented this Monday March 18 during a ceremony in Tours.
